Did you know that 50% of people retired before they would have liked to?
This could be due to layoffs, caregiving responsibilities, an unexpected change in their financial situation, or perhaps even health issues.
That’s a huge number! 1 in 2 chances it could be you, right?
In today's episode, Daves shares some important retirement statistics that you need to consider.
Many people are working hard to save for retirement with their work plans... That said, there are some unfortunate things you will need to consider if you want to make sure your retirement is a success.
Recently, a Gallup poll interviewed a group of 18 to 29 year-olds and found that they were optimistic about having a very good retirement.
However, once that group turned 30, they started to lower their expectations of a good retirement as they have now been in the workforce for a while and the reality creeps in that they are not saving enough for the latter years.
Let's make sure your retirement is a happy one and not one like the majority of the population that is struggling to get by in their later years.
